LOGO COMPETITION WITH A NEW SNOWBOARD AS GRAND PRIZE
Snowboard Montana needs a new logo and we want YOU to design it!
The main reason for getting involved, of course, is showing your dedication to Snowboarding and Montana. It is also a sweet addition to any resume, and, who doesn’t like to see their hard work on shirts and stickers?
As a bonus, we are accepting prizes from any vendors who would like to donate to the effort. The list is constantly growing as donations come in and we update the site. It’s looking pretty sweet though…
Current prize list:
- a Rome Graft 160 snowboard (spanks to Edge of the World)
- Tattoo (from Kyle at Every Mother's Nightmare)
- a subscription to Snowboard Magazine

If you're looking to offload some gear or buy some new/used gear for a good price, this is the place to do it! Resorts often offer discounted season / day passes, and there are raffles to win free gear and tickets! Be there early though, the best stuff goes quickly. If you're looking to sell gear, you need to bring it in on Saturday. The actual fair is held on Sunday.

Bridger Bowl Lift Expansion!

First Lift-Served Terrain Expansion in 30 Years!
Bridger Bowl will be completing the final phase of construction on the new Schlasman's Chairlift scheduled for completion this fall. This chair lift will add 311 acres of new lift-served RIDGE TERRAIN for expert skiers only. Skiers will be required to have an avalanche transceiver to access this lift, partners and shovels are highly recommended.

This is a big year for Montana snowboarding with the release of Inc Production's "Recordings" snowboard movie and the announced start-up of Gnarski & Touch Productions, a Bozeman based snowboard and ski film production company. Way to represent!
More information about Inc Productions: incproductions.org. They will be touring around Montana this winter with various presentations about their movie.

we have lost one of us

Our deepest sorrows go out to the friends and family of Justin Schlueter.
Justin was from Billings and passed away Tuesday, May 26th, after injuries sustained while snowboarding on Beartooth Pass.
A fund has been has been set up for Justin's family at Billings Federal Credit Union. If you would like to help, send donations care of Justin Schlueter to: P.O. Box 1779, Billings, MT 59103.
